Clubhouse is a mental health recovery centre based in 17 St Mary's Square Gloucester. The purpose of Clubhouse is to provide members with meaningful activities which will help them through the recovery journey. The Clubhouse movement started in New York in 1944 by a small group of patients who where about to be discharged from hospital.
The purpose of the group was to support each other through activities and helping each other get work.
